A Little About Who We Are

Cora Knowles

I live in Malta, Montana with my husband Jesse and our three dogs, Red, Sara, and Conway. We welcomed our first baby, a little boy, in February 2024 and am enjoying the new adventure!  While not a Montana native, I grew up all over the U.S, moving from the west coast to the Midwest and even to the south for my dad’s job. I knew I wanted to return to agriculture from a young age and that motivated me to attend University of Wyoming for my Bachelors of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management. With my background in rangeland ecology and conservation, I have a dream to help preserve the public and private lands for the next generations.

My Mission

I strive to use my intellect, faith, strength and courage that God has given me to thrive in my journey to deepen my roots in agriculture, inspire others with my passion for the land, and preserve the rural way of life.

Tricia Kimmel

Upon moving from Chinook, Montana in 1999 to join her husband PJ on a ranch on the prairies of Turner, Montana, Tricia found a need there for someone to handle small print jobs and design services. Tricia started her company, Kimmel Kreations, LLC in 2001 to fill that need, and later, in 2003, she launched a classifieds and general interest newspaper titled “Tricia’s Trader” that was distributed en masse across the north-central region of Montana.

She operated that publication until 2020 when Covid made it difficult for her advertisers to know if they could be open for business. Having also launched another endeavor to direct market Kimmel Ranch beef through Wholesome Beef Direct, Tricia shuttered the paper but continued to operate Kimmel Kreations in a scaled-down manner.

Recently, the company vision has re-centered and now focuses on new ways to bring design and production to her neighboring business communities. Currently underway is an event center that can be used for marketing and business enterprises in her small community as well as bringing the next generation into the business.
