The Milk River Gospel Jamboree is hosting its mini gospel jamboree on January 11th at the Malta High School Auditorium as a fundraiser for their main summer jamboree held in June. The Milk River Gospel Jamboree is a non-profit organization created to bring gospel music to northcentral Montana in 2001.
Turner’s own Wet Weather Band has been invited to perform again this year along with several other local musicians from across Montana including the Worship Team from Malta’s Grace Fellowship; Pastor Owen Childers with some of the youth group in Circle; Ed Doney of Harlem; Nathan Salveson, band director from Saco; and a host of other talent.
The show is slated to begin at 3:00 pm that Sunday, followed by a pie social in the school cafeteria. Free will donations are encouraged, and more information can be found at http://www.mrgjamboree.org or by calling John Koss at 301-2887.
