The officers for the 2025-26 4-H year are President, Avery Fox; Vice President, Isabella Van Voast; Secretary, Hannah Van Voast; Treasurer, Natalie Richman; and Reporter, Hannah Klindworth.
At this meeting, the discussion was held on the following topics:
In February, the club will package goodie bags for the fourteen residents of the Little Rockies Senior Center.
Members Isabella, Hannah, Rosie, Piper, Avery, and Mason formed a committee to create a display booth for the Seed Show in March.
In the spring, the Big Flat 4-H plans to host their annual Easter egg hunt.
During the meeting two demonstrations were presented. Hannah demonstrated how to make paint and Issac explained “everything you need to know about lambs.” Meanwhile, Elliot Klindworth recited the 4-H pledge for his speech.
To conclude the meeting, guest community member Jacob Stewart spoke to the club about the steps to become a pilot and how to receive certification.
Piper Fox, a member for approximately six years, explained that everyone in the club is “working on their animal” and “getting their record books started.” For her personal activities in 4-H, Fox noted that her two calves are “motivating her to work harder” and “not give up” on her projects for the year.
