After a decades-long nap, our girl has opened her eyes.
Thanks to the talented craftsmanship of Cody Kissner’s RockBottom-LLC construction crew, our Little Jewell is officially awake following her Uber ride to town by Liese Building Moving. John and Garth in particular have been working carefully to get everything leveled, straightened, and squared up, and are framing in openings for doors and windows. The lumber package is en route, roof panels have arrived, and truss retrofits are next on the docket. We’re super grateful to Sam at Brabson Welding (aka “Dad”) for his hundreds of hours fabricating the truss plates that will be used to beef up the roof and meet engineering specs for our open concept ceiling.
This ol’ girl is getting dressed up for another hundred years of fun, so somebody get her an espresso!
We can’t express our appreciation enough for the individuals and businesses who’ve thrown in with us as early Country Club “Members”. These folks believe in the vision and the project, and that’s worth more to us than gold. While we’re obviously not a “golfing” country club, we consider our Country Club Members a sounding board for guidance and direction during the weeks ahead. They’ll be included in upcoming exclusive VIP events once the project is ready for activity. Will you be there?
